This class encourages personal development and has a strong emphasis on exploitation of clay. You will be encouraged to involve the imaginary, be playful, develop your own way of creating an individual and vibrant piece of art. You will be fully supported and guided by your teacher through your making of a final piece.
You will learn how to structure your idea from inspiration to reality and build three-dimensional figurative ceramics sculptures using various techniques like modelling, pinching, coiling and slab building. Basic decorative finishes such as oxides and slips will also be used.

Each class is run in a group of maximum 8 people. Complete beginners are welcome.

Clay, decorative slips, glazing and firings are included.
