Ima-Abasi Okon has been shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Futures Award

Congratulations to Ima-Abasi Okon who has been shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Futures Award!

The Arts Foundation Futures Awards celebrate and support artists and practices that are shaping the future.

Initially nominated by established practitioners and experts in the field, twenty finalists have been selected this year by distinct judging panels. Five artists will receive £10,000 towards their practice – critical support for those who, although usually holding a track record in their field, are making that difficult step of sustaining and developing their art to reach an even larger public. The remaining finalists will each receive £1,000.

The recipients of the five £10,000 fellowships will be announced at the Arts Foundation Awards on the 28th January 2019.
