Maia Conran | This island, and its buildings, is our private paradise | Performance 2 October 7:30pm
Maia Conran will be hosting a performance on Friday 2nd October 2015, 7:30pm in Kingsgate Project Space. Drawing on Maia’s core interest in process and transposition the performance re-stages elements of her exhibition. Sampling found footage with live digital navigation and enacted monologues, she creates a temporary space to encounter an alternate version of the island. Maia's performance forms part of Art Licks Weekend, 2nd - 4th October 2015 – a celebration of

This island, and its buildings, is our private paradise. is open Thursday-Saturday 12-6pm, or by appointment. However on Friday 2nd October, Kingsgate Project Space will close at 5pm in preparation for the performance. It will then reopen from 8-9pm for visitors to view Maia's exhibition after the performance has finished.
